World Emblem Begins Operations at Zona Franca Tamboril with a US$2 Million Investment
The renowned company World Emblem, the world’s leading manufacturer of patches and labels, has officially begun its installation process at Tamboril Free Zone, located in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
On August 11, the groundbreaking ceremony took place, marking the official start of the company’s operations in the country and in Tamboril Free Zone. The event was led by the Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs, Víctor “Ito” Bisonó, along with key figures in the sector: Daniel Liranzo, Executive Director of CNZFE; Mícalo Bermúdez, President of Zona Franca Tamboril; and Randy Carr, CEO of World Emblem.
In this first phase, World Emblem will build a 6,000-square-meter industrial facility, with an initial investment of US$2 million and the creation of 250 direct jobs, contributing significantly to the region’s industrial and economic development.
